Product Overview:

1040 is a non-hardening, self-healing sealant that provides Superb adhesion in all conditions; including extreme temperatures and moisture levels. 1040 does not string during application, and exhibits outstanding webbing and cut-off characteristics. This material remains permanently tacky and flexible after curing, and provides a long-lasting and resilient seal.

Product Uses:

1040 adheres to a wide variety of substrates, and as such serves as a trusted sealant in a multitude of markets. In the metal building industry, 1040 is often used as a standing seam sealer. It adheres to painted metals, Zincalume, Galvalume, and Kynar 500.

1040 is also used as a joint sealant in foam glass applications.
